As a Competitive Intelligence Analyst at Expedia Group, you will play a crucial role in one of the industry's leading competitive intelligence teams that supports all lines of business within the company. Your responsibilities will include:

- Analyzing Data and Generating Insights:
- Drive data collection, scheduling, and quality-control monitoring to create and enrich datasets of competitive insights.
- Develop systems and processes to monitor competitiveness using data sourced from external vendors.
- Design workflows and define tests to ensure internal stakeholders effectively leverage accurate and relevant data.
- Fulfill ad-hoc requests for data and analysis.

- Streamlining Case Operations and Resolution:
- Lead a small team of external contractors responsible for investigating and resolving pricing cases.
- Effectively visualize complex data to identify trends and insights.
- Collaborate with internal data teams to address and resolve data integrity issues.

You should possess the following qualifications and experience:
- Bachelors degree in business, engineering, or a related field is required. An MBA from a top-tier program is preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years of work experience in Business Intelligence roles.
- Strong technical knowledge of SQL and the ability to translate data into actionable insights for the business is necessary.
- Knowledge of other programming languages (Python or R) and data visualization tools (Tableau or Power BI) is preferred.
- Proven experience in leading or supervising a team responsible for investigating and resolving case-based issues.
- Demonstrated ability to set priorities, define quality standards, and coach team members to consistently deliver timely case resolutions.
- Passion for travel and e-commerce is a plus.
