  • Position Description:

    Infinite Electronics Inc., a global supplier of electronics components and subassemblies, is seeking to fill a Product Coordinator Supervisor position The Product Coordinator Supervisor’s role is a leadership position that includes leading a team of Product Coordinators, ensuring that schedule requirements for new product data processed by the PC group are met, and interacting with suppliers, other members of the product management team and other departments. This position reports to the Senior Engineering Manager. The Product Coordinator Supervisor (PCS) is responsible for managing the day-to-day assignments of the Product Coordinator (PC) group and generating metrics of group performance. The PCS is entrusted with ensuring that processes and procedures are strictly adhered to by direct reports. The Product Coordinator Supervisor at Infinite oversees the planning, organizing and controlling of the product data flow from initial stages of product conception to creating pristine datasheets, deploying relevant technical data in the respective company systems and ensuring the integrity of the datasheet content through the product life cycle. Development and deployment of new team processes in conjunction with the Senior Engineering Manager may be required at times. This person must demonstrate consistent and flawless performance, be highly dependable, schedule and task driven, proactive and be able to work under minimal supervision. Strong attention to detail, ability to follow through with multiple assignments and the ability to receive, assimilate and relay technical information accurately are critical.

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

    Key Requirements:
  • The Leads staff by orienting and training employees and developing personal growth opportunities. Active involvement in the departmental recruiting and hiring process.
  • Accomplishes staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; conducting training; implementing and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures
  • Responsible for assigning and monitoring work; gathering resources; establishing productivity standards; implementing new procedures and tracking key performance indicators
  • Creates reports on team activities, productivity and progress
  • Supports annual/quarterly/monthly goals for new products
  • Uses company tools to track and manage work assignments
  • Participates in weekly Quality meetings
  • Business education or training highly desirable
  • Experience in creating, managing and loading product data
  • 3 years in a supervisory or management role with 5 or more reports
  • One year of practical electronics components experience highly desirable
  • High level of computer proficiency – MS Office, SharePoint, Smartsheet, Internet
  • Experience in maintaining, tracking and reporting metrics.
  • Knowledge of ERP (Navision ideally) and Product Information Management (PIM) systems
  • Proficient with Atlassian Jira / workflow management
  • Exposure to Product Information Management (PIM) database.
  • Exposure to Microsoft Dynamics NAV (“Navision”).
