Product Analyst, Merchant Data Platform

Role Overview:
As a Product Analyst at Visa, you will play a crucial role in managing merchant data platform initiatives globally. Your primary responsibilities will include working closely with product managers and engineering teams to analyze merchant and transaction data, improve data quality across Visa's merchant platform, and distill stakeholder feedback into meaningful roadmap and product programs.

Key Responsibilities:
- Work with and manage the support team to resolve stakeholder concerns and enhance support processes
- Collaborate with Visa business groups utilizing merchant data products to streamline Merchant Product Management processes
- Gather feedback to enhance data quality, data partnerships, and stakeholder consumption of merchant data
- Provide strategic direction and thought leadership for program initiatives, defining world-class merchant support
- Drive innovative opportunities across quality of experience, scale, and instrumentation, contributing to the MDP product roadmap
- Support major platform, product, and tool-driven change initiatives through program and project management
- Develop departmental procedures and best practices standards
- Analyze user trends to recommend improvements in processes, policies, and tools
- Identify and analyze sources of risk within the platform

Qualifications Required:
Basic Qualifications:
- 2 years of work experience with a technical Bachelors Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD)

Preferred Qualifications:
- 3 or more years of work experience or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) in data and platform engineering, data science, or business intelligence
- Recent experience in creating training/labelling data, prompt engineering, working with large language models (GenAI LLMs), machine learning, and validating GenAI/ML outputs
- Experience with point of interest (POI) data and/or geospatial mapping products
- 3 years of experience in leading cross-team analytics/business intelligence or data quality programs
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail
- Self-motivated and quick learner with the ability to thrive in a cross-functional setting
- Positive attitude, calming demeanor, and sense of humor
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Payment processing background is a plus
