About Our Client

Our client is one of the leading multi-million $ Pharma companies, based out of Hyderabad. They are currently looking to hire an experienced professional to head their Global Corporate Quality function.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

1) Corporate Quality Strategy & Governance

• Define and own the Corporate Quality Policy, Quality Objectives, and KPIs.
• Design and run Management Review as a true operating mechanism (data-driven decisions, funded actions, verified closure).
• Establish clear decision rights, escalation paths, and accountability across QA, QC, QMS, Validation, Compliance, and Supplier Quality.

2) PQS Design, Remediation & Inspection Readiness

• Lead a comprehensive enterprise gap assessment (systems, processes, behaviors).
• Build and execute a prioritized remediation roadmap with owners, timelines, and effectiveness checks.
• Implement a permanent inspection readiness program: internal audits, mock inspections, role-based preparedness, evidence packs, and rapid-response protocols.

3) Data Integrity & QC / Analytical Excellence

• ALCOA+ behaviors via systemic controls (audit trails, access governance, periodic review, exception reporting).
• Standardize laboratory governance: OOS/OOT rigor, investigation quality, method lifecycle management, analyst qualification, reference standards, stability governance.
• Ensure batch release discipline and documentation integrity across sites.

4) CAPA, Investigations & Change Control

• Set the enterprise standard for investigation quality (true root cause, not symptom management).
• Enforce CAPA effectiveness verification and prevent recurrence.
• Strengthen change management to prevent quality erosion during growth and tech transfers.

5) People, Organization & Operating System

• Build and coach a strong quality leadership bench (site quality heads and corporate COEs).
• Install a daily/weekly operating cadence with dashboards, tiered reviews, and hard closure.
• Lead hiring, performance management, and succession for Quality.

6) Cross-Functional Leadership

• Partner with Manufacturing, Engineering, MSAT/R&D, Supply Chain, Regulatory, and IT to prevent quality issues upstream.
• Position Quality as a standards-driven enabler.

The Successful Applicant

Senior Quality leadership in regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing (API and FDF), multi-site exposure.

• Demonstrated ownership of enterprise-level transformations (not just participation).
• Proven track record with regulatory inspections, remediation, and sustained compliance.
