Job Title:Pre-Sales-White SpaceExperience:11 years to 15 yearsLocation:Noida,Bangalore,chennai,HyderabadThe Role This role designs and positions optimize data center white space solutions by translating customer IT and capacity requirements into efficient rack layouts, density plans, and technical proposals. It ensures compute, network, and storage deployments are scalable, serviceable, and aligned with power and cooling capabilities.The role balances rack density, airflow, maintainability, and growth headroom to produce deployment-ready layouts. It collaborates with MEP and cabling teams to ensure holistic feasibility and compliance.Customer workshops and visual design artefacts are a key part of this role to clearly communicate capacity and expansion strategies.Key Responsibilities: Develop detailed rack-level layouts translating IT capacity requirements into optimized, serviceable, and future-ready white space deployment plans.Calculate per-rack and per-zone power and cooling demands ensuring alignment with upstream electrical and mechanical infrastructure capacities.Design zoning and placement strategies that balance density, airflow, maintainability, and phased expansion requirements.Produce high-quality drawings, visual layouts, and capacity models for customer workshops, proposals, and technical evaluations.Coordinate closely with MEP and cabling teams to validate physical feasibility, routing, and end-to-end compliance of designs.Plan modular and phased expansion approaches enabling incremental growth without major rework or service disruption.Validate proposed layouts against Tier, safety, and operational standards to ensure compliant and low-risk deployments.Present scalable white space design options to customers highlighting trade-offs between density, resilience, and cost.Qualifications & Experience 7-9 Yrs of experience in DC industry Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.Strong understanding of DC white space design and rack-level planning.Experience with high-density and AI/GPU rack deployments.Familiarity with airflow/thermal best practices.OEM White Space Design Training (Schneider, Vertiv, etc.)Specifics: Layout and capacity-focused presales design role.High interaction with customers and solution architects.
