What we are looking for

Role: Power BI Dashboard Content Creator

Experience Range: 5 to 7 Years

Location: Chennai, Bengaluru

Must Have:

• Design and build interactive Power BI dashboards, reports, and data visualizations.
• Apply data visualization best practices to ensure clarity, usability, and visual appeal.
• Create dashboard content (text, visuals, filters, navigation) tailored to different business audiences.
• Partner with business units to understand reporting needs and KPIs.
• Translate business questions into analytical requirements and dashboard features.
• Clean, transform, and model datasets using Power Query (M) and DAX calculations.
• Combine data from multiple sources such as Excel, SQL databases, SharePoint, cloud storage, etc.
• Provide insights into trends, anomalies, and performance metrics.
• Summarize data findings into presentations or written analysis for leadership.
• Ensure dashboard accuracy through validation and testing.
• Maintain and update dashboards as data sources or business needs evolve.
• Monitor dataset refreshes and troubleshoot Power BI service issues.
• Work closely with IT, analysts, business leaders, and subject matter experts.
• Communicate technical concepts in a simple, business‑friendly way.

Good to Have:

• Strong experience using Power BI (reports, dashboards, data modeling, DAX).
• Proficiency with data transformation tools such as Power Query.
• Solid understanding of data visualization principles.
• Experience connecting to and working with multiple data sources (SQL, Excel, cloud datasets, etc.).
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and storytelling skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Essential:

• Experience with Power BI Service (workspaces, refresh schedules, security roles).
• Knowledge of SQL or other query languages.
• Familiarity with Azure data tools or similar cloud platforms.
• Background in analytics, business intelligence, or reporting.

Minimum Qualification:

• 15 years of full-time education
• Minimum percentile of 50% in 10th, 12th, UG & PG (if applicable)
