Role Description

This is a Internship for a Photographer Intern based in Kolkata. The Photographer Intern will assist in capturing high-quality images, conducting location research, setting up equipment, and editing photographs. Responsibilities include contributing to storytelling through visuals, organizing photo shoots, and maintaining image databases. The role also involves active participation in brainstorming sessions to explore creative ways to expand our visual storytelling.

Qualifications

• Photography skills with knowledge of manual camera settings, lighting techniques, and composition
• Photo editing and post-processing skills using software like Adobe Photoshop or Lightroom
• Ability to conduct research and curate subject-relevant photographic themes
• Strong storytelling abilities with a good eye for detail and creativity
• Excellent organizational skills to manage photo libraries and metadata
• A passion for visual storytelling and capturing cultural context
• Knowledge of photographic equipment and willingness to handle technical setups
• Understanding of Kolkata’s geography, culture, and history is a plus
