Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Ph.D. candidate at Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology, located in Nagpur, Maharashtra. The role involves conducting cutting-edge research in a chosen field, collaborating with faculty for specialized projects, publishing findings in esteemed journals, and actively participating in conferences. The candidate will also be expected to support teaching activities, mentor undergraduate or postgraduate students, and engage in departmental initiatives.

Qualifications

• Academic Writing and Presentation: Proficiency in academic writing for publishing research papers and professional communication, along with presentation skills for conferences.
• Subject Knowledge: Strong understanding of core concepts in the chosen discipline of study and relevant literature.
• Project Management and Collaboration: Experience in managing research projects, working independently, and collaborating within a team.
• Technical Expertise: Familiarity with relevant tools, methodologies, programming languages, or laboratory techniques as applicable to the research field.
• Minimum Qualifications: A completed Master's degree in the relevant discipline with a strong academic record.
• Additional Credentials: Prior publications, research experience, or industry experience are considered a plus.
