Position Overview
The Personal Trainer is responsible for delivering high-quality, safe, and engaging fitness training to members at The Quorum. The role focuses on helping members achieve their fitness goals through personalised training plans, professional guidance, and consistent motivation while maintaining the premium hospitality standards of the club.

The Personal Trainer also supports the overall functioning of the fitness centre by ensuring equipment readiness, member safety, and a welcoming training environment.

Key Responsibilities
Member Training & Coaching
Conduct one-on-one personal training sessions tailored to individual member goals and fitness levels.
Assess member fitness levels, mobility, and health considerations before designing training plans.
Create customised workout programs aligned with strength, endurance, mobility, and overall wellness goals.
Monitor member progress and adjust training plans as required.
Ensure proper exercise technique and safety during all sessions.

Member Engagement
Build strong relationships with members and provide consistent motivation and guidance.
Offer fitness advice and basic nutrition guidance within scope of certification.
Encourage members to maintain regular training routines and healthy lifestyle habits.
Support fitness challenges, group sessions, or wellness initiatives organised by the club.

Fitness Centre Operations
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of gym equipment and workout areas.
Ensure equipment is used safely and report maintenance issues promptly.
Assist members with equipment usage when required.
Adhere to all safety protocols and club operating procedures.

Professional Standards
Maintain a professional, approachable, and service-oriented attitude with members.
Stay updated on fitness trends, training techniques, and wellness practices.
Uphold The Quorum’s service standards and member experience expectations at all times.

Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of exercise science, strength training, and functional fitness.
Ability to design customised training programs for different fitness levels.
Excellent interpersonal and member engagement skills.
Strong observation skills to ensure safe training practices.
Motivational coaching and communication ability.
Professional grooming and service-oriented approach.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Certified Personal Trainer (recognised fitness certification such as ACE, NASM, ACSM, or equivalent).
  • Diploma or certification in fitness training, sports science, or related field preferred.
  • 1–3 years of experience as a personal trainer in a gym, fitness centre, or hospitality environment.
  • Experience working with premium fitness facilities or clubs will be an advantage.
