Head of Performance Marketing

🎯 Role Mission

Own and drive profitable growth through performance marketing by scaling proven acquisition channels, building new growth engines, and creating a high-performing team across all NxtWave products (Academy, Intensive, NIAT, and future launches).

🧩 Key Responsibilities

1. Growth, Forecasting & Unit Economics
  • Achieve monthly planned leads and enrollments with 95%+ forecast accuracy at channel and product level
  • Scale monthly leads, enrollments, and revenue while reducing CPL and CAC across products
  • Own end-to-end funnel performance (Lead → Application → Enrollment)
  • Increase performance marketing contribution from ~20% to ~60% of total business growth
  • Build and own forecasting models, growth plans, and weekly/monthly performance reviews
  • Drive strong ownership of unit economics, ROI, and profitability

  • 2. Channel Ownership & Acquisition Expansion
  • Scale Google & Meta as primary growth engines
  • Launch and scale new acquisition channels, including:
  • Snapchat
  • Affiliates & Partnerships
  • Media Buying
  • Native Advertising
  • GPT / AI-driven ad platforms
  • Set up performance marketing from scratch for new product launches
  • Own retargeting strategy across platforms to maximize conversion efficiency

  • 3. MarTech, Tracking & Messaging Excellence
  • Own MarTech stack for performance marketing including tracking, attribution, and data flow
  • Deep expertise in retargeting and conversion setup:
  • Pixels, SDKs, conversion events
  • Custom audiences and remarketing logic
  • Drive best-in-class message-based performance campaigns:
  • WhatsApp, SMS, Email
  • Journey design, trigger logic, and performance optimization
  • Ensure high data accuracy across CRM, ad platforms, and analytics systems

  • 4. Team, Systems & Process
  • Build, manage, and upskill a high-performing performance marketing team
  • Define clear channel ownership, KRAs, and review cadence
  • Establish strong experimentation frameworks, dashboards, and reporting systems
  • Drive operational rigor, speed of execution, and accountability across the team

  • 5. Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with Product, Presales, Ops, and Tech to reduce funnel leakages
  • Partner with Brand & Content teams to align performance goals with brand narrative and messaging
  • Translate business goals into actionable performance and growth strategies

    Experience & Skills
  • 6–10 years of experience in performance marketing
  • Strong hands-on expertise in Google & Meta Ads
  • Experience managing ₹50L–₹2Cr+ monthly budgets
  • MarTech, retargeting, and tracking expertise (9–10/10 proficiency)
  • Message-based performance marketing expertise (WhatsApp, SMS, Email – 9–10/10 proficiency)
  • Proven ability to build, lead, and scale teams
  • Deep understanding of funnels, attribution, and unit economics
