The Tea Planet is building India’s most innovative Boba and beverage ecosystem, with strong foundations in manufacturing, exports, and product innovation.

We are now aggressively scaling our Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) vertical to build a large, profitable consumer brand.

This role is critical to building and scaling the D2C business into a major revenue engine.

This is not a campaign management role.

This is a business ownership role with full accountability for revenue and profitability.

Role

The D2C Growth Lead will own and scale The Tea Planet’s D2C business across Shopify and digital acquisition channels, with full responsibility for:

  • Revenue growth

  • Contribution margin

  • Customer acquisition efficiency

  • Conversion and retention

  • Profitability and scalability

  • You will operate as the owner of the D2C vertical, working directly with the Founder.

    Key Responsibilities

    1. Revenue Ownership & P&L Management

  • Own monthly and annual D2C revenue targets

  • Monitor and improve contribution margins

  • Manage CAC, LTV, and overall unit economics

  • Drive AOV growth through bundles and offers

  • Forecast revenue, demand, and growth plans

  • 2. Performance Marketing Leadership

  • Lead Meta Ads, Google Ads, and paid acquisition channels

  • Scale campaigns while maintaining profitable CAC

  • Optimize ROAS, funnel efficiency, and customer acquisition

  • Run structured testing across creatives, audiences, and offers

  • Manage marketing budgets with ROI discipline

  • 3. Shopify & Conversion Optimization

  • Improve Shopify conversion rate

  • Optimize product pages and checkout experience

  • Reduce cart abandonment rates

  • Build high-converting landing pages

  • Implement CRO testing frameworks

  • 4. Product & Revenue Expansion Strategy

  • Identify and scale hero products

  • Create bundles to improve AOV and margins

  • Launch seasonal, promotional, and limited-edition products

  • Work with operations for inventory and demand planning

  • 5. CRM, Retention & Lifecycle Marketing

  • Build email and WhatsApp automation flows

  • Improve repeat purchase rate and customer LTV

  • Launch subscription and loyalty programs

  • Strengthen customer lifecycle and retention systems

  • 6. Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Lead performance marketers, agencies, and creative teams

  • Work closely with operations and fulfillment teams

  • Build dashboards, reporting systems, and growth processes

  • Collaborate directly with Founder on scaling strategy

  • Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

    You will be accountable for:

  • Monthly D2C Revenue

  • Return on Ad Spend (ROAS)

  • Average Order Value (AOV)

  • Ideal Candidate Profile

    Experience

  • 4–8 years of experience in D2C growth, performance marketing, or ecommerce

  • Proven experience scaling ₹50L+ monthly online revenue

  • Experience managing Shopify-based D2C brands

  • Strong hands-on experience with Meta Ads and Google Ads

  • Skills & Capabilities

  • Deep understanding of unit economics and profitability

  • Strong analytical and data-driven mindset

  • Proven ability to scale growth profitably

  • Strong ownership and execution capability

  • Entrepreneurial mindset

  • Preferred Background

    Experience with brands in:

  • FMCG

  • Experience in high-growth D2C startups is highly preferred.

    Compensation

  • Fixed Salary: ₹4,00,000 – ₹7,50,00,00 per annum
