Job Summary

The Payroll & Compliance Executive is responsible for managing end-to-end payroll processing and ensuring statutory compliance as per applicable labor laws. The role requires accuracy, confidentiality, and a strong understanding of payroll systems and compliance frameworks, especially in the textile/manufacturing sector.

Key ResponsibilitiesPayroll Management
  • Process monthly payroll for workers, staff, and contract labor.
  • Maintain employee attendance, leave records, overtime, and shift data.
  • Calculate wages, bonuses, incentives, deductions, and reimbursements.
  • Ensure timely salary disbursement and payslip generation.
  • Handle full & final settlements.

  • Statutory Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with all labor laws including:
  • Provident Fund (PF)
  • Employee State Insurance (ESI)
  • Professional Tax (PT)
  • Labour Welfare Fund (LWF)
  • Bonus & Gratuity Act
  • Prepare and file statutory returns within deadlines.
  • Coordinate with government authorities and auditors.
  • Maintain statutory registers and records.

  • Contract Labour Compliance
  • Monitor compliance of contractors/vendors.
  • Verify wage registers, PF/ESI challans of contractors.
  • Ensure adherence to Contract Labour Act.

  • Audit & Documentation
  • Support internal and external audits.
  • Maintain payroll records, reports, and compliance documentation.
  • Ensure data accuracy and confidentiality.

  • Employee Support
  • Address employee queries related to salary, deductions, and compliance.
  • Provide clarification on payslips, tax deductions, and benefits.

  • Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / HR / Finance.
  • Certification in Payroll or Labour Laws (preferred).

  • Experience
  • 2–5 years of experience in payroll and statutory compliance.
  • Experience in textile/manufacturing industry preferred.

  • Key Skills
  • Strong knowledge of Indian labor laws and statutory compliance.
  • Hands-on experience with payroll software (e.g., SAP, Tally, or HRMS tools).
  • Good understanding of wage structures in manufacturing setups.
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Additional Requirements
  • Experience handling large workforce (including blue-collar employees).
  • Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple priorities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹13,615.36 - ₹35,810.65 per month
