Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise daily packing activities of frozen vegetables.
- Ensure proper packing as per product specifications and customer requirements.
- Maintain product quality, weight accuracy, labelling, and sealing standards.
- Monitor hygiene and food safety practices (HACCP, GMP, FSSAI standards).
- Ensure packing material availability (pouches, cartons, labels, etc.).
- Coordinate with production, cold storage, and dispatch teams.
- Maintain records of packing output, wastage, and manpower attendance.
- Minimize product damage and control packing losses.
- Train packing staff on procedures, safety, and hygiene.
- Ensure machines (weighing scales, sealing machines, conveyors, colour sorted metal detector) are functioning properly.
- Handle shift planning and manpower allocation.
- Ensure proper storage at required frozen temperature (-18C or as per standard).
- Follow safety guidelines and maintain discipline in the packing area.

Preferred candidate profile

- Knowledge of frozen food handling and cold chain management.
- Understanding of food safety and quality standards.
- Leadership and team management skills.
- Basic computer knowledge (Excel, reports, if applicable

- Qualification:
- Graduate BSc bio, Ag / Diploma in Food Technology
- Min 5 years experience in frozen food / FMCG packing department preferred.
