JD-Operations Manager corporate eventsJob descriptionTo ensure smooth on-ground planning and execution of events with a passion for pushing theboundaries with new technology and recent vendor engagements.Key Responsibilities:-1. Plan the event from start to finish according to requirements, target audience and objectives & Comeup with suggestions to enhance the event’s success.2. Costings & Logistics: Complete ops support to the CS team, right from providing logistics to costs,negotiation etc so as to ensure that they achieve their revenue targets.3. Ownership: Complete ownership of all events/activations - taking personal responsibility for flawlessdelivery as per global standards4. Licensing & permission: Ensuring all the required permissions and licenses are procured at the rightcost and delivered to required parties at right time5. Systems & Processes: Ensuring that all systems and processes are followed andcreating/suggesting/implementing best practices that constantly upgrade our operational capabilities.6. Ensuring that design, execution and production is taking place exactly as per the client specification7. Vendor Selection & Negotiation: Ensuring that correct vendors are chosen for each of the jobsundertaken at the best possible cost.8. New Vendor Engagements & Vendor Management. Awareness of the latest inventory maintained bythe vendors.9. Knowledge of new technology in lights, sound, AV, etc. Awareness of the latest elements used inproduction.10. Planning: Ensuring that the correct resources are allocated to each project, putting in the right checksand balances to ensure that desired results.11. Quality: Ensuring that quality achieved from the projects team executes is world class in every aspectand is appreciated by client.12. Analyse the event’s success and prepare reports.13.
