A OT Technician is a person who specializes in providing assistance in

Operation Theatres with standard procedures. He/she must have the

ability to perfectly perform their primary role to assist the surgeons in the

hair transplant procedure including handling and placing of hair grafts &
cosmetic surgery, specialist, anaesthesiologists and nurses. To be in

control of the Operation Theatre as well as handling the equipment with

• *Responsibilities**:

- Should be well versed with placing or implantation of grafts
- Should be able to do the counting of grafts in the OT
- Should be able to help the surgeon in removal of grafts
- Responsible for managing and maintaining the proper inventory of

surgical consumables in clinic
- Must be familiar with various types of consumables and

instruments being used in surgical OT
- Knowledge of specialty wise instruments for various surgical
- Knowledge of equipment and its accessories used in surgical OT

with its proper up-keeping
- Strict implementation of sterilisation protocols in the OT.
- Keeping record and maintenance of all instruments, medical

devices and registers for maintenance of OT.
- To prepare Patient for procedure as per pre-procedure checklist,

clinician & Anaesthetist instruction
- Follow biomedical waste disposal protocols. Monitor and assure

quality & maintain the monthly report & send to Clinic Manager
- Must work in accordance with laid SOPs and should be able to

work on online software’s.
- Must assist and get trained in Laser hair reduction procedure and

other hair and cosmetology procedures.
- Schedule and prepare for the demos and training sessions for the

visiting surgical team with the help of Clinical & Sales Team.

• *Qualification & Skills Required**:

- Medical Services 2 years’ experience post diploma in OT

assistance higher Secondary or Graduation with Diploma /

certificate in OT assistance
- This job requires the individual to w
