Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Operations Manager – Tours & Travel to lead, control, and scale our tour operations. The role demands strong leadership, deep destination and logistics expertise, excellent vendor management, and the ability to deliver seamless, high-quality travel experiences across domestic and international markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end tour operations including planning, execution, and closure
• Design and manage domestic & international tour itineraries
• Oversee vendor sourcing, contract negotiations, and service-level compliance
• Manage tour costing, budgeting, margin control, and profitability
• Supervise and mentor the operations team and tour coordinators
• Ensure flawless guest experience and handle escalations during tours
• Monitor tour execution in real time and resolve operational challenges
• Develop and implement SOPs, checklists, and quality standards
• Coordinate closely with Sales, Reservations, Finance, and Accounts teams
• Ensure compliance with documentation, permits, tickets, visas, and vouchers
• Prepare MIS, operational reports, and performance reviews for management
• Identify process improvements and cost-optimization opportunities

Candidate Profile

• 7–10 years of proven experience in Tours & Travel operations
• Strong expertise in outbound, inbound, and domestic travel
• Excellent leadership, coordination, and people management skills
• Ability to handle high-volume and complex tour operations
• Strong negotiation, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency in MS Office, CRM, and travel management systems
• Willingness to travel as per operational requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• Graduate / Postgraduate in Travel & Tourism, Hospitality, or Management
• Experience with DMCs, corporate travel, MICE, or luxury tours is an advantage
