About the Role

Zellar International is looking for a dynamic, experienced, and highly organized Head of Operations to lead and strengthen our end-to-end event operations across corporate, luxury, and experiential projects. This is a senior leadership role designed for someone with deep expertise in event operations, vendor management, showflow execution, and multi-city project leadership.

The ideal candidate is a problem-solver, people-leader, and process-builder who can elevate Zellar’s operational excellence as we expand across India and international markets.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership & Strategy
  • Lead the entire operations division, ensuring smooth execution of all events—corporate, luxury, MICE, experiential, and brand activations.
  • Develop and enforce SOPs, quality standards, checklists, and best practices for flawless project delivery.
  • Forecast resource needs, optimize budgets, and ensure cost efficiency without compromising quality.

  • Project & Event Execution
  • Own the planning, logistics, and on-ground execution for all projects end-to-end.
  • Oversee production schedules, vendor timelines, technical riders, stage cues, AV requirements, and artist/anchor coordination.
  • Conduct pre-event technical recce, venue evaluations, and detailed showflow planning.
  • Ensure compliance with legal, safety, and licensing requirements (permissions, performer agreements, music rights, vendor contracts, etc.).

  • Team Management
  • Manage and mentor a team of operations managers, freelancers, production crew, and on-ground staff.
  • Allocate responsibilities across projects, ensuring timely delivery and team efficiency.
  • Drive performance, accountability, and continuous skill development across the operations vertical.

  • Client & Internal Collaboration
  • Work closely with Business Development, Creative, and Production teams for feasibility checks and operational planning.
  • Attend client meetings to translate requirements into executable action plans.
  • Maintain seamless communication between internal units and external partners.

  • Vendor & Partner Management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, hotels, production agencies, stage/AV providers, fabricators, performers, technical teams, and venue partners.
  • Negotiate contracts and ensure timely delivery of high-quality services.
  • Expand Zellar’s vendor network across India and Dubai.

  • Quality Control & Problem Solving
  • Conduct rigorous quality checks before and during events.
  • Anticipate challenges and implement quick resolutions on ground.
  • Ensure every event reflects Zellar’s premium quality and high creative standards.

  • Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Business, or related field.
  • 7–12 years of experience in event operations, project management, or production with premium event agencies, hotels, or experiential firms.
  • Proven track record of leading multi-city teams and delivering large-scale corporate or luxury events.
  • Strong understanding of event production, AV, staging, decor, licensing, and end-to-end logistics.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, crisis management, and stakeholder-handling skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage simultaneous large projects with precision.
