Job Summary:

The Fashion Design Faculty is responsible for delivering high-quality teaching in fashion design, guiding students in creative development, and preparing them with industry-relevant skills. The role involves teaching theoretical and practical aspects of fashion, mentoring students, and contributing to academic development within the institution.
Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver lectures and practical sessions in fashion design, garment construction, textile studies, pattern making, and fashion illustration.
• Develop and update lesson plans, course materials, and curriculum in alignment with industry trends.
• Guide students in design projects, portfolio development, and final collections.
• Evaluate student performance through assignments, projects, presentations, and examinations.
• Provide mentorship and career guidance to students interested in the fashion industry.
• Organize and support fashion shows, exhibitions, workshops, and industry interactions.
• Stay updated with latest fashion trends, techniques, and technologies.
• Maintain academic records, attendance, and assessment reports.
• Collaborate with the academic team for curriculum improvement and institutional activities.
Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Fashion Design / Fashion Technology / Textile Design or a related field.
• Additional certifications in fashion design or garment construction will be an added advantage.
Experience:

• 2–5 years of experience in teaching or working in the fashion design industry is preferred.
Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of fashion illustration, pattern making, draping, and garment construction.
• Proficiency in fashion design software (such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or CAD).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Creativity and ability to inspire students.
• Strong organizational and mentoring abilities.
