Professional Qualifications: MSc Chemistry

Essential: MSc Chemistry with WTP, RO and coal analysis knowledge

Preferably: MSc Chemistry

Critical Job Competencies / Mandatory Skills

Maintain economic, quantity and quality of DM Water production during boiler start-up after tripping & shutdown.

Ensure the proper regeneration & operation of DM Plant to optimise the OBR and reduce DM water cost.

To assist in running the boiler successfully on various (multi fuel) fuel mix such as Linkage, Auction, Imported, AFR with maximum availability & without affecting the optimum boiler efficiency by testing the quality of coal.

JOB PROFILE –

Maintain economic, quantity and quality of DM Water production during boiler start-up after tripping & shutdown, Maintain the quality parameter of WCC through Cooling tower for TPP & WHRS. Maintain the preservation parameter of standby boilers. Maintain the water balancing and meet the all requirement of environment related to TPP/WHRS water parameters. Maintain the Effluent treatment plant parameters.

KRA 1: RO & DM Plant Operation & Other activities

• Execute proper operation of RO& DM Plant to fulfil quantity of DM Water, cooling tower make-up , budget preparation , Inventory control.

KRA 2: Shift management

• Execute & Monitor of all operational activities, quality testing & housekeeping

KRA 3: System implementation :

• Ensure effective implementation of all quality systems SAP, ISO, EMS etc., in WTP to attain excellence

KRA 4: SHE ( Safety, Health & Environment) along with Sustainability initiatives for chemical storage, handling & mock drills
