Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Occupational Health and Safety Officer located in Patna. The principal responsibilities include developing, implementing, and monitoring health and safety policies to ensure compliance with regulatory standards. The role involves conducting workplace safety inspections, identifying hazards, and mitigating risks. Additional duties include preparing reports, educating employees on occupational safety measures, and ensuring that the work environment aligns with Environment Health and Safety (EHS) requirements.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Health & Safety and Workplace Safety protocols
• Strong knowledge of Occupational Health practices and regulations
• Experience in implementing and managing Environment Health and Safety (EHS) programs
• Certified in NEBOSH or a similar recognized safety qualification
• Excellent problem-solving and risk management skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to train and educate employees effectively
• Ability to handle on-site safety concerns and adapt to dynamic environments
• Previous experience in the automotive or manufacturing sector is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field is preferred
