Job Role: Network Engineer – Fortinet Firewall & Zscaler ZIA

Location: Bangalore/Chennai/Mumbai/New Delhi/Hyderabad

Experience: 4–8 Years

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Network Engineer with hands-on experience in Fortinet Firewalls and Zscaler ZIA (Zscaler Internet Access) to manage, support, and enhance enterprise network security infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have strong troubleshooting skills and experience in secure network design and implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure, deploy, and manage Fortinet FortiGate Firewalls
• Implement and administer Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) policies and configurations
• Manage firewall policies, NAT rules, VPN (IPSec/SSL VPN), and security profiles
• Monitor network traffic and troubleshoot security incidents
• Implement URL filtering, sandboxing, DLP, and threat protection policies in ZIA
• Perform firmware upgrades and patch management
• Collaborate with SOC and infrastructure teams for incident resolution
• Support network changes and participate in change management processes
• Prepare documentation, SOPs, and security reports.

Required Skills:

• 4–8 years of experience in Network Security
• Strong hands-on experience with FortiGate Firewalls (Policy, VPN, IPS, UTM),Zscaler ZIA Administration.

Good understanding of:

• Routing & Switching (BGP, OSPF, VLANs)
• TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP
• SSL Inspection & Proxy concepts
• Experience with log analysis and troubleshooting tools
• Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards
• Preferred Certifications
• NSE 4 / NSE 5 (Fortinet)
• Zscaler Certified Administrator (ZIA)
• CCNA / CCNP (Preferred)

Good to Have:

• Experience with SD-WAN
• Exposure to cloud security (AWS/Azure)
• Basic scripting knowledge (Python / Shell)
