RVS iGlobal is looking for a passionate and highly self-motivated individual to join our team and work primarily as a Network Engineer to design, implement, maintain, and support all network and server infrastructure by monitoring network status to ensure maximum network performance at all times. Monitors investigate and diagnose any issues with service partners and customers.

To be a successful candidate, you will need to have a strong understanding of network infrastructure and network hardware. You will also need to be able to implement, administer, and troubleshoot network devices including WAPs, firewalls, routers, switches, and controllers. A deep knowledge of application transport and network infrastructure protocols is highly desired.

Requirements

• Troubleshooting and resolving support escalations
• Managing all network and server infrastructure by monitoring network status to ensure maximum network performance at all times.
• Liaise with service partners and customers.
• Escalate major issues where needed.
• Proactively handle support cases assigned to you.
• Triage, troubleshoot, and fault fix.
• Monitors investigate and diagnose any issues with service partners and customers.
• Ensure SLAs are met, documentation is correct, and policies/procedures are in place.
• Working with both technical and non-technical staff as the key point of contact.

Skills & Experience

• Hands-on experience working on multiple vendors including Fortinet, Cisco or Juniper
• Have at least 18 months of experience working in a network environment
• Previous experience monitoring, investigating, and diagnosing issues
• Have an understanding of OSPF, BGP
• Have an understanding of MPLS
• Understand firewall policies and set up of VPN’s
• Must be able to interphase with both technical and non-technical staff.
• Must be familiar with the following tools:

-Switches: HP, Aruba, Cisco Core Stack/L2/L3 Managed Switches

-Firewalls: Palo Alto, Cisco,the following tools: Meraki, Sonicwall, FortiNet, Draytek

-Wi-Fi: Rukus, HP Aruba, Meraki, Ubiquity

Network Security

Educational Qualifications: -

• Graduate/Postgraduate in Computer Science
• Professional IT work experience of 5 years- 6 years
• Minimum 3 years of Network Security migrations and administration
• Implementation Experience with enterprise Network security solutions
• Exceptional communication skills
