Role Description

The Ritz-Carlton, Pune is seeking an experienced Mediterranean & Arabic Cuisine Chef for a full-time, on-site role in Pune. The chef will be responsible for designing and preparing high-quality dishes consistent with the flavors and techniques of Mediterranean and Arabic cuisine. Essential duties include menu planning, maintaining hygiene and safety standards in the kitchen, supervising kitchen staff, and ensuring exceptional food presentation and guest satisfaction. Collaboration with the culinary team to ensure the highest culinary standards and innovation will also be an important part of the role.

Qualifications
  • Currently working as Chef De Partie or above.
  • Expertise in Mediterranean and Arabic culinary techniques, and a deep knowledge of ingredients and flavor profiles
  • Proven ability in menu development, food presentation, and recipe creation within Mediterranean and Arabic cuisines
  • Proficiency in maintaining high standards of food hygiene, safety regulations, and kitchen operations
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills with experience in supervising and mentoring kitchen staff
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while maintaining composure and attention to detail
  • Formal culinary training and certifications are an advantage
  • Experience in luxury or fine dining establishments is highly desirable
  • Knowledge of seasonal ingredients and sustainability practices is a plus
