KaroStartup is a growing digital media platform that covers Indian startups, founder journeys, small business success stories, Bharat entrepreneurship, and bootstrapped brands. With over 5,000 stories published across India, the platform now aims to uncover Kanpur’s hidden business gems and bring them to a national audience. This is a non-commercial storytelling initiative where businesses are not charged for publication. The objective is to highlight real entrepreneurs, share authentic business stories from Kanpur, and inspire more individuals to start their own ventures.

Selected Intern's Day-to-day Responsibilities Include

Research new and growing businesses in Kanpur through structured market exploration.

Identify unique startups and small businesses with inspiring journeys.

Conduct background research and prepare interview questions before field visits.

Visit selected businesses and interview founders or shop owners in person.

Understand and document their origin story, initial struggles, investment details, revenue insights (if shared), growth journey, and future vision.

About Company: KaroStartup was initiated way back in 2019 with a goal to build a community of startups across India. After spending years in this ecosystem, we understood the challenges people face due to lack of knowledge and no mentorship at the individual level which result in most of the startups derailing from the path of success and ultimately ending up in failure.
