Assistant Director (EDP) - 1 Post

• Essential: Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology from a recognized university/institution OR Engineering Degree with Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Application / Computer Science / Information Technology
• Experience: 2 years in Programming, Electronic Data Processing, or Systems Analysis

Assistant Director (Research) - 1 Post

• Essential: Degree in Economics, Statistics, or Mathematics from a recognized university/institution
• Desirable: Experience in data collection, compilation, field surveys, and knowledge of computer operations

Catering Officer - 1 Post

• Essential: Degree from a recognized university plus Diploma in Catering Technology and Applied Nutrition from the Institute of Catering Technology and Applied Nutrition, Mumbai (or equivalent)
• Experience: 3 years in the field

Assistant Executive Engineer (Electrical) - 1 Post

• Essential: Degree or equivalent in Electrical, Electronics & Communication Engineering from a recognized university/institution

• Executive Engineer (Electrical), Executive Engineer (Mechanical): Above 21 years, below 35 years
• Deputy Secretary: Above 21 years, below 40 years
• Senior Welfare Officer: Above 21 years, below 35 years
• Deputy Manager (Welfare): Above 21 years, below 40 years

Age Relaxation:

• PwBD: 10 years relaxation
• Ex-Servicemen: Relaxation up to the extent of service rendered in Defence Forces
• Existing Employees of any Major Port Authority: Up to 55 years of age

Salary

• Asst. Director (EDP/Research), Catering Officer, Asst. Executive Engineer, Executive Engineers, Sr. Welfare Officer: Pay scale of Rs. 50,000-1,60,000 (pre-revised Rs. 20,600-46,500 / 9,100-15,100). Total monthly salary is approximately Rs. 94,500 plus HRA.
• Deputy Secretary, Deputy Manager (Welfare): Pay scale of Rs. 60,000-1,80,000 (pre-revised Rs. 24,900-50,500 / 13,000-18,250). Total monthly salary is approximately Rs. 1,13,000 plus HRA.
• You will also receive DA, HRA (if not residing in MbPA quarters), and other admissible allowances as per Central Government rules.

Application Fee

• PwBD Candidates: Rs. 250 (Intimation charges only) + GST @18%
• All Other Candidates: Rs. 750 (Application fee including intimation charges) + GST @18%
• Payment Mode: Online only (Debit Card, Credit Card, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards, Mobile Wallets)
• Fee Period: 06 March 2026 to 06 April 2026
• Note: Fee once paid is non-refundable. Separate fee is required for each post applied.

Selection Process

The selection will be done in 3 stages:

• Online Examination: An objective-type (MCQ) computer-based exam will be held at centres in Mumbai, Greater Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Thane, and Palghar. The exam carries 200 marks with 140 questions to be completed in 120 minutes. Negative marking of one-fourth (0.25) of the marks allotted per question applies for every wrong answer. You need at least 35% marks in each section and overall to qualify.
• Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates from the online exam will be called for verification of original documents and certificates.
• Interview: Candidates who clear document verification will appear for an interview carrying 30 marks. Final selection is based on combined performance in the online exam and interview.

How to Apply

• Visit the MbPA website at www.mumbaiport.gov.in and go to the "People & Career/Jobs" section.
• Click on "Apply Online" under the DR-15 advertisement to open the registration page.
• Click "New Registration" and enter your name, contact details, and email ID to get a Provisional Registration Number and Password.
• Log in and fill the online application form completely. Use "Save and Next" to save your progress.
• Upload your scanned photograph (4.5cm x 3.5cm, 200x230 pixels, 20-50 KB), signature (140x60 pixels, 10-20 KB), left thumb impression (20-50 KB), and hand-written declaration (800x400 pixels, 50-100 KB).
• Preview your application, verify all details, and click "Complete Registration".
• Go to the "Payment" tab and pay the fee online using Debit/Credit Card, Net Banking, or UPI.
• Take a printout of your completed application form and e-receipt for future reference.

Separate applications with separate fees are needed for each post you want to apply for.
