Role Overview

The Marketing Coordinator will play a key role in supporting and monitoring the performance of Business Development Managers (BDMs) working in the field. The role involves ensuring accurate reporting of field activities, tracking demand generation efforts, and coordinating with internal teams to support marketing initiatives for Educart’s 9th–12th Reference Books.

The position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate between field teams and leadership to ensure smooth operations and improved sales performance.

Key Responsibilities
1. BDM Coordination & Monitoring
  • Ensure timely submission of daily reports from BDMs, including start time, end time, and visit details.
  • Monitor and verify the authenticity of field visits conducted by BDMs to identify duplicate or fake visits.
  • Maintain smooth communication between BDMs and the Head of Business Development.
  • Track daily activity updates and ensure proper documentation of field operations.

  • 2. Reporting & Analytics
  • Provide daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports directly to the Head of Business Development.
  • Maintain detailed performance dashboards to evaluate the productivity of BDMs.
  • Analyze data to identify trends, performance gaps, and improvement opportunities.
  • Recommend incentives or penalties based on defined performance metrics and reporting accuracy.

  • 3. Market & Demand Generation Analysis
  • Analyze assigned territories to assess whether effective demand generation activities are being carried out.
  • Track demand patterns for books, feedback from schools, and overall market penetration levels.
  • Collect insights from field teams and institutions to support strategic decision-making.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations to strengthen marketing and sales strategies.

  • 4. Marketing & Campaign Coordination
  • Coordinate with the Training & Academic Team to ensure successful execution of marketing campaigns.
  • Support the planning and execution of school-level activities, workshops, and academic events.
  • Monitor campaign performance and share feedback to improve campaign effectiveness.
  • Assist in organizing and tracking demand generation initiatives across regions.

  • 5. Communication & Compliance
  • Monitor and respond to school emails and institutional queries in a professional and timely manner.
  • Ensure all BDM activities comply with company reporting standards and operational guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate databases, records, and documentation of field activities and institutional interactions.
  • Support the implementation of new monitoring systems and demand generation processes.

  • Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience in marketing coordination, sales coordination, or field team monitoring.
  • Experience in education publishing or EdTech industry will be preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets (Power BI or Tableau is an added advantage).
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional coordination.
  • Ability to analyze performance data and recommend improvements.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
