Carrefour, a leading global retailer, is seeking a dynamic Production & Quality Engineer to ensure the quality and efficient production of merchandise sourced through our global supply chain. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining high standards and driving continuous improvement within our supplier network.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct pre-audits and CGFS (Carrefour Global Food Safety) assessments to ensure factories meet Carrefour's quality standards. Maintain follow-up on social and technical audit validity and CAP (Corrective Action Plan) implementation.
- Develop and implement 5-gate quality control steps within factories engaged in Carrefour order execution.
- Plan and drive quality control measures (testing, inline, final inspection, self-inspection) in collaboration with internal teams, factories, and third-party inspection companies.
- Measure and track relevant quality KPIs (AQL performance, testing performance, claims) for factories and engage them in continuous improvement initiatives.
- Develop factory internal quality control teams (CCQC) through training and empowerment to promote self-inspection.
- Conduct conformity assessments to ensure production activities align with product specifications and quality control guidelines (risk assessment, PP meeting, trim card, bulk shade review, bulk production picking, in-house tests, etc.).
- Perform capacity assessments ahead of each season and generate alerts through CAPLAN (Capacity Planning).
- Monitor production and order execution, implementing critical path flags to identify potential problems and enable timely solutions.
- Check monthly/weekly production status and FRI (Final Random Inspection) planning to ensure effective order execution.
- Maintain clear and precise communication within Carrefour's Global Sourcing (GS) internal teams.
- Monitor the service level of inspection companies and train inspectors and suppliers on SOP updates/new guidelines.
- Ensure production line capacity and conduct pre-production meetings, risk assessments, in-line production quality checks, and final inspections.

Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in Engineering (Industrial, Quality, or related field) or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality control, production engineering, or supply chain management, preferably in a retail or manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of quality management systems, statistical process control, and AQL standards.
- Experience with factory audits, social compliance, and corrective action plan implementation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and identify areas for improvement.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Willingness to travel as required to visit factories and attend industry events.
