An experienced ME Lead with experience in setting up and managing high-speed automated manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in engineering, industrial automation, and high-speed machinery to drive efficiency, uptime, and technology advancement across our production facilities. This role will lead cross-functional technical initiatives, ensure high equipment performance standards, and support capacity expansion through automation, reliability engineering, and continuous improvement programs.

Role & responsibilities
Assess product requirements, specifications, and volumes to identify and recommend suitable machines, tooling, and technologies.
Evaluate manufacturability of new products and propose appropriate production equipment.
Prepare detailed technical specifications, capacity calculations, cycle-time studies, and ROI for machine procurement.
Lead the selection, assessment, and introduction of recent manufacturing technologies to enhance throughput and reduce manual interventions.
Act as the subject matter expert for all machine automation-related initiatives within manufacturing.
Build, monitor, and improve equipment KPIs including OEE, MTTR, MTBF, and downtime.
Conduct root cause analysis for chronic machine failures and implement long-term corrective and preventive actions.
Drive reliability engineering, TPM, and continuous improvement programs to maximize uptime and equipment health.
Lead end-to-end execution of new production lines, machinery upgrades, and capacity expansion projects.
Oversee vendor evaluations, technical documentation, machine design reviews, installation, commissioning, and validation.
Ensure alignment of machine selection and layout with safety, quality, and productivity requirements.

Skills / Requirement
14+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, automation, and high-speed automated machinery.
Robust understanding of machine design, power systems, motion control, hydraulics, pneumatics, and utilities.
Proven experience in commissioning automated lines and enhancing equipment reliability.
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills; exposure to TPM, Lean, Kaizen, and Six Sigma.
Solid leadership capabilities with the ability to influence and manage cross-functional technical teams.
Excellent communication, vendor management, and stakeholder coordination skills.
