Job Title: Manual & Automation Tester

1. Overview: The Manual & Automation Tester will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and performance of our software applications. This position aims to identify defects early in the development cycle, thus improving the overall user experience. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology, an eye for detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

2. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for manual and automated testing.
• Execute manual test cases and document results to ensure all functionality works as intended.
• Design, implement, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts.
• Collaborate with development teams to define testing requirements and ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Report and track defects using appropriate tools, ensuring they are resolved promptly.
• Conduct regression testing to validate fixes and new features.
• Participate in code reviews and provide input on testing best practices.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in testing tools and methodologies.

3. Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in manual testing techniques and methodologies.
• Strong experience in automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, JUnit).
• Familiarity with front-end technologies including Vue.js and JavaScript.
• Knowledge of HTML5 and CSS for front-end testing.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Understanding of continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.
• Familiarity with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, SoapUI) is a plus.

4. Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in software testing (both manual and automation).
• Proven track record of developing and executing test cases for web applications.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

5. Skills & Experience:

• Strong proficiency in Vue.js, demonstrating an ability to write effective tests for applications developed in this framework.
• Experience in JavaScript programming, including writing automated tests and debugging.
• Proficiency in HTML5, enabling effective testing and validation of web-based applications.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
