Role Overview

You will be the Tax Manager in the PCS Practice, responsible for providing a wide range of US partnership and corporate tax services for Private Client Services (PCS) clients. Your responsibilities will include managing tax compliance, reviewing tax returns, offering tax planning advice, and leading client engagements while ensuring adherence to US tax regulations. Additionally, you will be expected to mentor team members and collaborate with US counterparts to deliver high-quality tax services.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive US tax compliance and advisory services for PCS clients.
- Prepare and review Forms 1040, 1065, 1120, and 1120S in compliance with US tax laws.
- Oversee tax compliance for Schedules K-1, K-2, and K-3.
- Manage state and local tax compliance along with international filing requirements.
- Review tax returns and supporting workpapers prepared by staff and seniors.
- Offer tax planning and advisory services to operating businesses and partnerships.
- Cultivate and manage client relationships, ensuring exceptional service delivery.
- Identify tax issues and propose strategic tax solutions.
- Conduct in-depth technical research on complex tax matters.
- Collaborate closely with US teams using digital collaboration tools.
- Mentor, train, and develop junior staff and senior associates.
- Engage in tax engagement planning, projections, and finalization.

Qualifications Required
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or a related field
- 8+ years of progressive experience in US taxation
- Hands-on experience in preparing and reviewing Forms 1040, 1065, 1120, and 1120S
- Experience with Operating Partnerships and Rental Real Estate (RRE)
- Previous experience with PCS clients, particularly Small & Medium Businesses
- Experience in direct work with US clients or global teams
- Strong client management and communication skills
- Background from Consulting firms or CPA firms only (Industry experience not preferred)
- Mandatory CPA / CA / EA (Enrolled Agent) certification
