  • Your Role Accountabilities:

  • Technical Leadership & Architecture
  • Own solution design for time capture, pay rules, scheduling/attendance, retro process, reporting, payroll interfaces.
  • Define and enforce integration and data-flow standards (API, file/SFTP, event-driven where applicable).
  • Lead design reviews and ensure solutions meet non-functional requirements: performance, resiliency, monitoring, auditability, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Act as the escalation point for complex technical decisions, production issues, and vendor solution quality.
  • AWS & DevOps Enablement
  • Lead cloud and DevOps practices supporting HR/Payroll/L&D related applications and integrations on AWS (e.g., CI/CD pipelines, environment management, observability, secrets handling, IAM patterns).
  • Standardize deployment and release processes; implement quality gates and automation (testing, validations, rollback readiness).
  • Improve operational telemetry: centralized logging, dashboards, alerting, and runbooks.
  • Operational Excellence
  • Own incident/problem management for the platform: triage, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and preventive controls.
  • Reduce recurring defects and operational noise through automation and engineering fixes.
  • Ensure support readiness: documentation, runbooks, on-call expectations (if applicable), and change management discipline.
  • Modernization, and Simplification
  • Drive a pragmatic roadmap that reduces technical debt while protecting business continuity.
  • Rationalize integrations and custom components; improve upgrade readiness and reduce regression risk.
  • Delivery Execution & Stakeholder/Vendor Management
  • Translate priorities into executable plans (sequencing, dependencies, estimates, acceptance criteria).
  • Manage vendor partners and ensure quality delivery with clear accountability and transparent status.
  • Partner across HR, Payroll, Security, Infrastructure, and Program teams to deliver predictable outcomes.
  • Business & Technology Requirements
  • Partner with Clients and Technology Partners to define and capture business requirements, technical requirements, determine scope, and estimate the effort for the development of Technology requirements.
  • Application Development & Governance
  • Leads application development projects and related activities while ensuring that appropriate governance exists for all delivery of technology solutions.
  • People Management & Team Development
  • Lead, coach, and develop employees and contractors; build ownership and execution discipline.
  • Create a culture of operational accountability, engineering discipline, and continuous improvement.
  • Manage capacity and growth plans; establish strong operating rhythms and accountability.
  • * Partner with business stakeholders to align modernization with business outcomes and measurable ROI.

  • Qualifications & Experiences:
    Education: Undergraduate degree required Leadership & Technical Management Experience:
  • 8+ years in enterprise technology delivery/support, including 3+ years people leadership (employees + contractors/onshore-offshore).
  • Strong experience with workforce/HR platforms (Infor WFM/Workbrain, Kronos/UKG preferred) including integrations and operational ownership in production.
  • Proven leadership on multiple large-scale initiatives (e.g., 3+ major programs) spanning requirements through deployment and post-go-live stabilization.
  • Experience designing and operating integrations and data flows across enterprise systems (e.g., Workday, ServiceNow, payroll providers, finance/ERP/SAP).
  • Working knowledge of AWS operational patterns (IAM, logging/monitoring, security controls, cost/performance basics).
  • Demonstrated strength in incident/problem management, release governance, and delivery execution.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC and modern delivery practices; able to guide engineers and vendors on architecture, quality, and operational readiness.

  • Not Required but preferred experience:
  • Entertainment industry experience is desirable, with a strong understanding of technology trends and tools.
  • Familiarity with data analytics tools (PowerBI, Tableau)
  • Strong knowledge of application technology, solutions, and strategies related to the client’s business to achieve business goals.
  • Knowledge of project methodologies (e.g., waterfall, agile) and project management tools like Jira and Confluence.
  • Broad knowledge across technology disciplines, including infrastructure, identity management, data strategy, and cloud migration.
  • Knowledge of best practices for application development and technology project management.
  • Proficient in constructing work and resource plans to address business problems and technology challenges.
  • In-depth knowledge of design, development, testing, deployment, and operational support phases.
  • Understanding of enterprise security standards and application controls.
  • Strong customer service focus and responsiveness.
  • Proficient decision-making and time management skills, demonstrating leadership abilities.
  • Strong analytical, interpretive, and evaluative skills, with the ability to grasp the "big picture."
  • Strong organizational and project management skills across multiple work streams.
  • Outstanding documentation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Creative and resourceful approach to delivering value-added solutions to clients.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing to all management levels.
  • System design and testing concepts, integration frameworks, data conversion, and client deployment readiness.
  • Technical Skills and Knowledge:
  • Experience with Infor WFM / Kronos/UKG, HCM, ERP, and SaaS software preferred
  • Knowledge and practical application of software development life cycle with industry standard best practice methodologies
  • Proficient in Java and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles
  • Experience with modern web frameworks and technologies: Spring Boot, Node.js, Angular, React, Vue.js
  • Expertise in Relational Databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL) & NoSQL databases
  • Strong understanding of application architecture, performance optimization, and scalability
  • Experience architecting and deploying enterprise applications using AWS Cloud Services - including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudWatch, and API Gateway
  • Experience building and integrating with RESTful APIs and third-party platforms
  • Experience managing integrations and master data management
  • Domain Expertise
  • Functional knowledge across HR, Payroll, and Time & Attendance systems
  • Background working in compliance-heavy industries such as Media & Entertainment, Retail or Financial Services
  • Process Management
  • Experience and implementation of Process Re-engineering efforts
  • Experience planning and implementing process and system changes to existing processes and live productive applications is critical
