Industry: Leather Export / Manufacturing
Salary Range: ₹60,000 – ₹80,000 per month
Experience Required: 7–10 years in HR & Compliance, preferably in export/manufacturing sector
Reporting To: Director / General Manager


Key Responsibilities:

1. Human Resource Management

  • Oversee end-to-end HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, payroll, performance management, and exit formalities.

  • Implement HR policies and procedures in line with labor laws and company goals.

  • Handle employee grievances and provide effective conflict resolution.

  • Monitor employee engagement and retention initiatives.

2. Statutory Compliance

  • Ensure full compliance with all applicable labor laws (Factories Act, ESIC, EPF, Shops & Establishment Act, etc.).

  • Maintain all statutory records and prepare for internal and external audits.

  • Coordinate with labor inspectors and ensure timely submission of returns and forms.

  • Handle compliance audits by buyers or third-party agencies.

3. Export House & Buyer Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with social, environmental, and technical standards as per international buyers (BSCI, SEDEX, ISO, etc.).

  • Conduct internal audits and prepare for external compliance inspections.

  • Maintain documents and certifications required by buyers and third-party agencies.

4. Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain employee records, HR MIS reports, and compliance dashboards.

  • Generate regular reports on attendance, attrition, training, and compliance.


Key Skills Required:

  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and compliance requirements in the export/manufacturing sector.

  • Experience in handling audits from buyers (BSCI, SEDEX, ISO, etc.).

  • Proficient in HR software and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Leadership and team management abilities.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Graduate/Postgraduate in HR, Law, or related field.

  • Additional certifications in labor law or compliance (preferred but not mandatory).
