Role & responsibilities

To ensure safety management system (Bluegrass Business Park Safety standard, SOPs, EGs, QESH& W procedures) is implemented and communicated to the team.

To ensure QESH & W objective are understood and individual objectives are completed as per the defined target date.

To identify risk at his work place, control measures are implemented and communicated to concerned employees.

Actively Participation in Employee Consultation Forum and other OH&S related meetings.

To report all incidents, NMCs, SOs that have occurred are reported and take participation as per IISC, SO procedures.

To ensure work is carried out as per the Permit to Work standard and also implementation of all identified control measures as per risk assessment (JSA, HIRA, TBT, etc)

Periodically inspect the logbooks, checklists and PPM schedule for a better management of Fire fighting system

Team should be trained regularly to meet any emergency.

To ensure first aid training on fire fighting system to all

Enforce compliance with all safety and environmental standards on-site.

QESH& W Responsibility

To ensure Bluegrass Business Park EHS&W Policy is understood by self and co-workers.

Ensure compliance with Environmental regulations and promote sustainability initiatives on site.

Facilitate employee participation in Safety Committees, consultation forums, and EHS meetings.

Manage emergency preparedness and response plans beyond fire, including health hazards and environmental emergencies.

Authority

To issue/ cancel permit for any planned activity

To STOP any unsafe work as reported by workmen or self observed

Ensure vendor invoice is processed timely and process tracking till the payment to vendor.

Ensure to monitor vendor performance based on SLA & scope of work.

Ensure timely response on mail, occupant concern resolution and minute of meeting circulation.

Any other task / responsibility assigned by the management time to time

To Prepare Opex and Capex budget from fire and safety point of view

Implement and monitor EHS policies as per Bluegrass Business Parks standards and statutory requirements.

Conduct / supervise periodic training on weekly / monthly basis.

Ensure Inspection and maintenance of Fire Extinguishers as per fire safety operations manual.

Ensure the Fire System is in healthy condition always as per the Fire Safety Management plan.

Ensure timely AMC of fire equipments present at Site and their proper documentation (e.g. inspection, maintenance, testing, refilling and rectification

Ensure proper gate pass procedure is followed when any fire equipments is taken out of the premises for refilling/rectification/HPT.

Share incident FIR & investigation report on time with respective stakeholder.

Handle site emergency situations effectively & efficiently.

Communicate & coordinate with Head Fire Safety regarding events, incidents, concerns of Fire Team members, recommendations, major escalations etc.

Develop and maintain working relationship with Fire department.

Attends meetings, conferences, workshops and training sessions and reviews publications and audio-visual materials to become and remain current on the principles, practices and new developments.

Supervise Fire Staff, assign /monitor work assignments and provide training in life safety, first aid.

Ensure to organize and conduct Drill and meeting as per yearly calendar planner.

Position Purpose and Nature

Responsible for overall performance of Fire, Safety, Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) of the site, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, company policies, and best practices.

To attend all the training as per TNI and Training plan.

To ensure that all QESH & W related documents are maintained, tracked and tracked as per assigned responsibility.

Able to lead site team to run the Fire & Safety Operations smoothly

Staff's discipline and well being.
