As a Manager – Business Development, you will be responsible for driving business development activities with corporate clients under pManifold EV Consulting Practice which includes lead generation, sales pipeline management, writing proposals and preparing estimations, contract management, client relationship and communication, CRM & MIS, etc.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities that align with the company's growth strategy
  • Develop and maintain relationships with potential clients, key decision-makers, and stakeholders
  • Work with the Managing Director and senior leadership team to develop proposals and pitch presentations for potential clients
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create and execute marketing campaigns that generate leads and raise brand awareness
  • Manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to closing deals, and follow up with clients to ensure their satisfaction with our services
  • Conduct market research, identify new business opportunities and build a pipeline of potential clients
  • Attend industry events and conferences to network and promote the company's services
  • Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals and contracts, negotiate deals and close sales
  • Provide regular updates to the Managing Director and senior leadership team on business development activities and progress toward revenue goals
  • Drive strong, long-term relationships with key accounts by proactively reaching out to them, serving as the primary point of contact, and ensuring alignment with client and partner goals.

  • Qualifications and skills:
  • Master’s degree in engineering/ MBA in Power Management, or a related field.

  • (Preferred: Minimum of 3 years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing, preferably in a consulting firm or professional services firm)
  • Work experience in the Energy, Climate, Transport sector is highly preferred.
  • Proven track record of success in generating new business and closing deals.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
  • Excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze market trends and identify new opportunities for growth.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
  • Knowledge of the consulting industry and relevant business trends.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, and MS Word
  • Familiarity with tools such as CRM software, email marketing tools, and project management tools
