Job description for Manager /Dy Manager (Accounts)

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement and maintain robust job-costing procedures to track materials, labor, overhead,

  • and equipment costs for each construction project.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers to review project budgets, estimate costs to complete, and

  • identify potential financial risks early.
  • Maintain and oversee the general ledger, ensuring all financial transactions are recorded

  • accurately and timely.
  • Manage the monthly and year-end financial close processes efficiently.
  • Manage subcontractor payables, and their retention money.
  • Monitor cash flow closely to ensure sufficient funds are available for payroll, vendor payments,

  • and operational needs.
  • Ensure compliance with local, provincial, and national tax regulations, particularly concerning

  • sales tax, withholding taxes, and payroll taxes.
  • Coordinate with internal auditors and for monthly/ annual audits.

  • Qualification & Experience:
  • B. Com/M Com/ MBA/ CA Finalist/ CMA Finalist degree in accounting.
  • Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in an accounting management role, with preferably

  • experience in the construction industry.

    Key Skills:
  • Strong expertise in job costing, WIP reporting, and percentage-of-completion accounting.
  • Excellent understanding of contract structures, retention management.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and specialized construction accounting

  • software/ERPs.
  • High analytical capability with a strict attention to detail and accuracy.

Pay: Rs150,000.00 - Rs250,000.00 per month
