Responsibilities

• Provide day to day production support for Looker dashboards, reports, Explores, and LookML models.
• Troubleshoot Looker errors, performance bottlenecks, and data discrepancies.
• Monitor system performance, Looker PDTs, and scheduled jobs to ensure smooth operations.
• Optimize queries and LookML structures to improve dashboard load times.
• Validate data quality and ensure consistent, accurate reporting across teams.

Technical Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with LookML development and Looker modeling.
• Proficiency in SQL with the ability to work efficiently with large datasets.
• Experience with modern cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, Synapse, etc.)
• Solid understanding of data modeling concepts (Star schema, Fact & dimension modeling)
• Experience using Git and version control within Looker.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve data quality issues including cleaning, preprocessing, and anomaly detection.
• Experience with ETL / ELT tools, such as DBT or Looker PDTs.
• Experience in dashboard design, performance tuning, and query optimization.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice To Have)
