Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Lead WordPress Developer. The Lead WordPress Developer will oversee designing, developing, and maintaining WordPress websites with a focus on functionality, performance, and user experience. Responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams, implementing custom WordPress themes and plugins, troubleshooting and resolving website issues, and optimizing website performance and responsiveness. The role also involves mentoring junior team members and ensuring best practices in website development.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Back-End and Front-End Web Development
• Proficiency in Responsive Web Design and Web Development
• Experience with Web Design, including UI/UX design principles
• Strong knowledge of WordPress, including custom themes, plugins, and troubleshooting
• Ability to perform website performance optimization and ensure cross-browser compatibility
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Familiarity with SEO best practices and standards
• Experience leading development teams is a plus
• Bachelor‘s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field is preferred
