Tech Lead / Technical Architect – MERN + TypeScript

YatriKart is building the technology backbone for the fast-growing “Retail on the Go” ecosystem across India. We are looking for a Tech Lead / Technical Architect who can take ownership of our platform architecture and lead the next phase of scalable product development.

You will work directly with the founders to design and build a high-performance supply chain and retail technology platform powering hundreds of stores across transit locations.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving real-world operational problems with technology and building scalable systems from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the overall system architecture for scalable and secure web applications


• Lead backend and frontend development using MERN + TypeScript


• Design scalable APIs and database architecture


• Implement DevOps best practices including CI/CD and cloud deployment


• Build systems that support high transaction volumes and multiple retail locations


• Ensure strong code quality, performance optimization, and system reliability


• Mentor and lead a team of full-stack engineers


• Work closely with founders and business teams to align technology with business goals

Skills & Experience


• 8–10 years of experience in full-stack development


• Strong expertise in MERN Stack (MongoDB, Express, React, Node.js)


• Strong experience with TypeScript


• Experience designing scalable backend systems and APIs


• Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure


• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools (Docker, Terraform, Kubernetes)


• Experience building production-grade platforms


• Strong debugging, optimization, and system design skills


• Ability to lead engineering teams and make architecture decisions
