In This Role, You Will
  • Lead complex technology initiatives including those that are companywide with broad impact
  • Act as a key participant in developing standards and companywide best practices for engineering complex and large scale technology solutions for technology engineering disciplines
  • Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs
  • Review and analyze complex, large-scale technology solutions for tactical and strategic business objectives, enterprise technological environment, and technical challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented technical factors
  • Make decisions in developing standard and companywide best practices for engineering and technology solutions requiring understanding of industry best practices and new technologies, influencing and leading technology team to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives
  • Collaborate and consult with key technical experts, senior technology team, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues and achieve goals
  • Lead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor

  • Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

  • Desired Qualifications
  • 10+ years of hands-on experience in building application using Java, Spring framework and Spring Boot
  • Strong experience in designing and building microservices/ web services.
  • Experience in Front end development experience with ReactJS or Angular JavaScript, NodeJS
  • Familiarity with MongoDB, including querying, data validation, and understanding of document schemas.
  • Experience in the payments domain with working knowledge of Wires/SWIFT, and ISO 20022 message structures.
  • Familiarity with ElasticSearch, including indexing concepts, search/query validation, and interpreting results.
  • Familiarity with GenAI tools such as GitHub Copilot, Agentic AI workflows, and LLM based test generation.
  • Knowledge on messaging service like Kafka, Solace, etc.
  • Experience in working on relation database like Oracle, MS SQL Server, etc
  • Knowledge on caching solutions like Redis, Ignite, Coherence
  • Working experience in cloud environment like PCF/OCP/Azure/ GCP
  • Experience with CI/CD technologies such as Jenkins, GitHub, Artifactory, Sonar etc.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies such as SCRUM
  • Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Develop intuitive monitoring dashboards that visualize transaction metrics and alerts.
  • Ensure secure handling of sensitive financial data and compliance with industry standards.

  • Job Expectations
  • We are open for both the locations - Hyderabad and will be required to work in the office as per organizations In Office Adherence / Return To Office (RTO)
  • The Lead will spearhead the design and delivery of system within a payments environment—encompassing EFT, RTGS/Wires, SWIFT, and real-time transaction systems. You will architect, implement, and maintain secure, performant, and user-friendly transactions and dashboard interfaces while mentoring a team of engineers.
  • Participate in architectural and API design discussions.
  • Produce and maintain comprehensive technical documentation and support sprint planning.
  • Learning, adapting and implementing new concepts, technologies and improvements.
  • Strong Technical Leadership & Engineering solution development- Provide expertise, direction, and assistance to junior engineers
  • Experience of cloud migration of applications and Azure/GCP certification will be an added advantage.
  • Evaluation of latest tools and technology and onboarding them to improve productivity.
  • Technology Mentoring to meet the overall Efficiency & Effectiveness objectives of the organization – This includes coaching junior engineers and providing technical design and architecture guidance for initiatives.
