Job Description :

We are seeking a Physical Design Engineer with strong expertise in power analysis and optimization for advanced technology nodes. The role involves working with PrimePower, PTPX, and PowerArtist to drive accurate power estimation, debug power hotspots, and optimize design power across implementation stages.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform power analysis using PrimePower, PTPX, and PowerArtist at block and full-chip levels.
  • Identify, debug, and optimize dynamic and static power hotspots.
  • Collaborate with RTL, synthesis, and P&R teams to drive power improvements.
  • Support signoff activities including power convergence, ECO impact analysis, and report generation.
  • Ensure correlation between RTL, gate-level, and post-layout power estimates.

  • Requirements:
  • Hands-on with PrimePower, PTPX (PrimeTime-PX), and PowerArtist.
  • Strong understanding of timing, clocking, PPA tradeoffs, and low-power methodologies.
  • Experience with 7nm/5nm/3nm nodes is a plus.
