    Job Description
  • Lead mechanical design for conveyor systems, sorters, ASRS components, and SPM machinery.
  • Perform core engineering calculations - motor selection, throughput analysis, structural checks, drive systems, and load-bearing analysis.
  • Guide a team of engineers, review designs, and drive technical decision-making.
  • Develop detailed 3D models, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings using Creo.
  • Collaborate with R&D, electrical, automation, and production teams to ensure seamless integration.
  • Solve design issues, improve existing systems, and contribute to new product development.

  • The Successful Applicant

    A successful Falcon - SME R&D should have:
  • 10-14 years of experience in mechanical design within intralogistics, warehouse automation, material handling, automotive, or SPM domains.
  • Strong fundamentals in machine design, kinematics, motion systems, and industrial automation.
  • Hands-on experience with conveyors, sortation systems, storage systems, or custom automated machinery.
  • Proficiency in Creo (must-have) and expertise in mechanical calculations.
  • Engineering degree from a Tier‑1 institute (IIT, NIT, BITS, DTU, etc.) is preferred.
  • Ability to mentor engineers, solve complex problems, and work cross-functionally.
