Position: Lead – Finance & Compliance Organisation: A leading NGO Experience: 10–15 years Qualification: CA / MBA (Finance) / Commerce Graduate CTC: 20 LPA Location: Mumbai Job Description • Lead overall finance and compliance function, ensuring strong governance and efficient financial management. • Oversee budgeting, financial planning, MIS, and reporting for programs and organisational operations. • Manage donor funds, grant accounting, and utilisation tracking, ensuring adherence to donor requirements. • Ensure statutory compliance including FCRA, Income Tax, GST, and other regulatory frameworks. • Drive internal controls, audit processes, and risk management systems. • Collaborate with program teams to ensure alignment of finance with program delivery. • Strengthen financial systems, processes, and capacity building of internal teams. Job Requirements • 10–15 years of experience in finance and compliance, preferably in the nonprofit/development sector. • Strong expertise in donor fund management, grant accounting, and financial reporting. • In-depth knowledge of FCRA, taxation, audits, and regulatory compliance in India. • Experience in budgeting, MIS, financial planning, and internal controls. • Ability to work closely with program teams and senior leadership. • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
