An opportunity has arisen within our Clinical Laboratories for an Information Technology Support Analyst to join our team. The post holder will provide the first point of contact for laboratory systems support, dealing with enquiries and requests for assistance from primarily internal users of the laboratory service.

Technical expertise and practical experience of software testing methods and quality assurance is essential. Knowledge of laboratory automation, clinical order communication systems and experience of working with primary care services from an IT systems perspective would be an advantage.

The role will support the maintenance, development, testing and implementation of IT systems relevant to the laboratory service.

You should also have experience of developing technical solutions to problems with minimal supervision and to solve problems in a logical and structured way.

Based within the clinical laboratories at the Golden Jubilee University National Hospital, this post is full time 36 hour contract. Hybrid working will be considered
