Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and responsible **Laboratory Technician** to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in performing laboratory tests, maintaining lab equipment, and ensuring accurate documentation of test results. The role requires strong attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work efficiently in a laboratory workplace.
Key Responsibilities
Collect, label, and prepare samples for laboratory testing.Perform routine laboratory tests and procedures as per standard protocols.Operate, maintain, and calibrate laboratory equipment.Record and analyze test results laboratory cleanliness and follow safety guidelines.Assist senior lab staff or scientists in experiments and research activities.Ensure proper storage and handling of chemicals and samples.Maintain proper documentation and laboratory records.
Requirements
Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in **Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT), Microbiology, Biotechnology, or related field**.1–3 years of experience in a laboratory environment preferred.Knowledge of laboratory equipment and testing procedures.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to follow safety and quality standards.Basic computer knowledge for documentation and reporting.
Preferred Skills
Knowledge of diagnostic laboratory procedures.Ability to handle laboratory instruments and testing machines.Good communication and teamwork skills.
