1. To perform technical work as per monthly work schedule and as per SOPs in histology & cytology 2. To take part in all continuous professional improvement activities. 3. Check computer entry for frozen section at 7.30am and perform cryostat frozen section, whenever required. 4. Registration of specimens. 5. Arranging gross are for cut up. 6. Processing, Embedding, cutting, staining, mounting, labeling and submission of slides of all biopsy samples to Pathologist, as per work schedule. 7. Registration, processing, staining mounting, labeling, and submission of slides of all cytology samples to Pathologist, as per work distribution. 8. Filing of blocks, slides and reports 9. Arranging / dispatching / issuing slides and blocks for opinion, / referrals as per policy of the section. 10. Observe QC and follow quality policies. 11. Bring to the attention of technical manager any problem / incident and follow laboratory policy. 12. Any fault in equipment’s, bring to the attention of technical manager immediately. 13. Participate in the laboratory CPD 14. Comply with section and laboratory policies.
