Job Description
  • The Kronos Specialist of 4 to 8 years with general knowledge of Kronos 8.1 (or sooner, latest technologies stack and Dell Boomi that range from the traditional architectures to micro services and cloud enabled architectures.
  • Lead the development and design sessions focused on solutions optimization related to information technology operations, business processes, security, and data integrity for the Kronos application.
  • Identify and manage new Kronos release changes as well as collaborate with other team members to make recommendations based on the needs of the organization. This includes participating in any testing activities as well.
  • Be involved in all stages of development, from product ideation through architecture and execution.
  • Support and drive the evolution of the Kronos development methodology including development and documentation standards, testing procedures, quality assurance and change management.
  • Ability to develop Kronos standards for Timekeeping, Leave, Accruals and Attendance.
  • Must hold certifications in Workforce Integration Manager and/or WFM.
  • Continual focus on maintaining up-to-date knowledge of technology standards, industry trends, emerging technologies, and software development best practices.
  • Ensure technical and production issues are quickly resolved and suggest strategies and solutions to help reduce the likelihood of reoccurrence.
  • Participate and support the Kronos strategy to stakeholders to achieve cross-organizational alignment.
  • Successfully iterate on product and platform features by quickly understanding requirements and scaling the architecture.
  • Identify and manage new Kronos service pack changes and collaborate with other team members to make recommendations based on the needs of the organization.
  • Participates in planning to ensure resource alignment within IT effectively and efficiently.
  • Good to have integration experience good with Oracle Fusion.
  • Experience working with 3rd party payroll processors.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Applications needed to perform daily duties, e.g., Word, Excel, Visio, etc.
  • Experience with all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle, including system analysis, design, coding, testing, debugging and documentation.
  • Extremely detailed oriented, committed to excellence and takes unrelenting pride in the code written.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
