We are looking for a Junior Software Tester to join our team in Bangalore. This role involves working closely with internal teams, especially Developers, as well as Customer IT teams, providers, and suppliers when required.

The primary responsibility of this role is to perform a broad range of manual testing activities using appropriate testing environments, techniques, and tools. You will work closely with clients and the Development Team to understand requirements and build effective test plans.

This role focuses primarily on manual testing of web and mobile applications, with some exposure to automation testing where applicable.

• We are looking for someone who is curious, detail-oriented, and eager to continuously learn and keep up with the latest technologies and testing practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate business and technical requirements into test cases and test scenarios
• Perform manual testing of web applications and mobile applications (Android & iOS)
• Conduct API testing using Postman
• Create, maintain, and execute test plans and test cases
• Identify, document, and track bugs and defects
• Work closely with developers, product teams, and client stakeholders
• Ensure solutions are accurate, reliable, and delivered on time
• Contribute to improving testing processes and product quality
• Support testing activities across the full software testing lifecycle
• Help ensure a great user experience across client applications

Requirements

• 0–3 years experience in Software Testing (Freshers with relevant skills can apply)
• Experience or knowledge of Manual Testing for Web or Mobile Applications
• Knowledge of API Testing using Postman
• Ability to create and maintain test plans and test cases
• Understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Lifecycle (STLC)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to quickly learn and keep up with the latest technologies, tools, and testing practices
• A proactive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to take ownership of tasks

Nice to Have

• Exposure to Automation Testing tools (Selenium, Appium, Playwright, Cypress, etc.)
• Experience with bug tracking tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail)
• Experience testing mobile apps on Android and/or iOS devices
• Familiarity with Agile or Scrum development environments
• Basic knowledge of SQL or database testing
• Experience with cross-browser testing tools (BrowserStack, LambdaTest)
• Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)
• Basic knowledge of Git or version control systems

AI-assisted testing experience is a plus, such as:

• Using AI tools to generate test cases
• Using AI for test data generation, documentation, or debugging
• Leveraging AI tools to improve testing productivity and coverage
