About the Role

Odd Giraffe is looking for a Junior Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting and financial operations. The role involves maintaining Zoho Books, handling reconciliations, managing GST compliance, and supporting financial analysis including cash flow, working capital, and unit economics.

Key Responsibilities

- Set up and maintain the company’s accounting system on Zoho Books
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and financial records
- Reconcile payment gateways, bank accounts, and settlements
- Manage GST compliance including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and related filings
- Track receivables, payables, vendor payments and expenses
- Maintain accurate sales and cost tracking for e-commerce operations
- Create and monitor cash flow statements and working capital reports
- Help analyse unit economics, margins and financial performance
- Support management with financial data for decision making
- Coordinate with CA for compliance, filings and audits

Requirements

- 1–3 years accounting experience in e-commerce or DTC businesses
- Experience with Zoho Books or similar accounting software
- Valuable understanding of GST and compliance
- Strong Excel / spreadsheet skills
- Ability to analyse financial data and present clear reports

Good to Have

- Experience reconciling Shopify, Razorpay, Stripe, PayU etc.
- Experience with inventory-based businesses
- Exposure to unit economics, cash flow tracking, or startup finance

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
