Operational Responsibilities

Operations in a jewelry store are centered around risk management and compliance.

• The "Golden Hour" (Opening/Closing): * Physically verifying every piece against the system stock list.
• Ensuring the safe/vault is organized and that high-value items are moved securely.
• Inventory Integrity: * Managing "Inward/Outward" movements (e.g., items sent for hallmarking, polishing, or resizing).
• Overseeing the Daily Weighing Process for gold items to account for any discrepancies.
• Documentation & KYC:
• Ensuring every sale complies with tax laws and anti-money laundering regulations.
• Verifying certificates (GIA, IGI, BIS Hallmarking) match the physical product before handing it to the customer.
• Vendor & Karigar Coordination: * Managing the timeline for "Special Orders." If a customer needs a ring resized by Friday, the In-charge ensures the workshop delivers it by Thursday.

Sales & Revenue Responsibilities

Your goal is to maximize the "yield" per walk-in while building long-term loyalty.

• Strategic Upselling & Cross-selling:
• If a client buys an engagement ring, the In-charge suggests matching bands or earrings.
• Moving "Old Stock": Strategically placing older designs in high-visibility areas to prevent inventory stagnation.
• Lead Management:
• Following up on "warm leads" (customers who liked a piece but didn't buy).
• Maintaining a Clientbook to invite VIPs for private viewings of new collections.
• Objection Handling: * Acting as the "closer" for junior sales staff. When a customer is hesitant about price or gold rates, the In-charge steps in with authority and product knowledge.
• Product Knowledge Training:
• Briefing the team on the unique selling points (USPs) of new arrivals.
• Educating staff on current market gold rates and diamond price fluctuations.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
