Job Description We are looking for a Java Developer who wants to be part of Tieto Banktech. This role is in the Payments and Cash Management unit, where we work on cutting-edge technology to create world class financial products that are used by top banks worldwide. When joining Tieto Banktech as a Java Developer Experience level - 3 to 5 years Key Responsibilities • Code Development: Write, test, and debug clean and efficient Java code for new features and enhancements. Able to work independently, with minimum supervision. • Bug Fixing: Assist in identifying and resolving software defects and issues. • Testing: Participate in unit testing and support integration testing to ensure code quality. • Learning & Growth: Actively learn new technologies, tools, and best practices from senior team members and through self-study. • Collaboration: Work closely with team members, including leads and architects, and contribute to system design. Work closely with QA and product owners to understand requirements and contribute to project goals. • Mentor: Demonstrate technical leadership and ability to mentor junior members in the team. • Documentation: Assist in creating and maintaining technical documentation. • Code Review Participation: Learn from and contribute to code reviews. • Support: Provide support for existing applications as needed.
